The Priest Meeting has been Successfully Concluded with a Chrism Mass.
On the 17th of March, the Priest meeting took place and concluded successfully with a celebration of the Chrism Mass.
Priest Retreat Successful to Its Completion.
Thirteen of our priests from the parishes completed their week-long retreat, which began on June 15th at St. Joseph's Parish, Moli. 
One of the Indian priests who served at Noro Parish expressed his gratitude, saying that it was their time to recharge their spiritual lives, distance themselves a bit from their ministry, and spend time with the Lord.
Fr. Charles remarked that the venue was an excellent choice, a very quiet place they discovered, surrounded by beautiful nature.
He also noted that the location helps create the mood for the retreat, enhanced by the hospitality of the parish community, who generously catered meals with cheerful hearts.
The retreat was led by Fr. Henry Paroi, who continually reminded the priests of their identity and purpose. It focused on reflections, prayer, meditation, and more.
And the gathering provided an opportunity for the parishioners to observe and feel the presence of all the priests from different parishes.
Nuncio Visits Correctional Center
His Excellency Most Reverend Archbishop Fermin Emilio Sosa Rodriguez, along with Msgr. Federico Boni his secretary, and Bishop Peter Houhou, the new bishop of the Diocese of Gizo visited the Gizo Correctional Center this afternoon.
Celebrating Solemnity Enlighten Faithfull.
Solemnity celebrations have continued to enlighten parishioners especially those youths who continue to observe and learn more about why we have such celebrations.
Such celebrations also have the faithful come together, and it is a feast day of the highest rank of celebrating a mystery of the faith in the church.
Diocese of Gizo Ordain 1st Permanent Deacon.
The Catholic Diocese of Gizo has ordained its first Permanent Deacon (PD) at St. Peters Cathedral Gizo during the Cathedral’s feast day on the 2nd Sunday of July 2023.
He is Jerome Kuibatu who is a current pastoral coordinator for the Diocese of Gizo whom has been welcomed at the Altar to serve the priests.

16 Priests Attend Annual Meeting.
16 priests attended their 3 days annual meeting at Bethania Spiritual Center Gizo which commenced on the 28th of March.
The meeting which was facilitated by Bishop Luciano Capelli sdb had its’ challenging agenda, which enabled the priests to pray, reflect, evaluate, and hold discussions.
Parish activities, getting in little by little.
Wagina Island has recorded several positive cases during the outbreak since the community outbreak in their province. More have recovered and now they started to focus ahead on their normal parish activities.
